  1. Take Makhana in a bowl.

  2. Now bake it in the oven for 30 sec and then cut it into small pieces. You can also skip this step.

    Now take olive oil in a pan and heat it. When the oil gets hot, add asafoetida and turmeric in it. And add Makhana to it and keep stirring it little by little. After a minute switch off the stove and add red chillies, chaat masala and salt and stir well.
     

  1. So our masala makhana is ready.

Note

Baking the makhana will make it extra crispy.
