Both mung and spinach are very beneficial for health. Mug mum has high levels of antioxidants and is rich in potassium, magnesium and fiber. While spinach is rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, folic acid, iron and fiber.

Also it looks tasty with capsicum and other spices.

  1. Wash and soak the moong dal for 3 hours. Crush the dal when it gets soaked. Keep the batter slightly thick like uttapam. And add rava and besan to it and mix.


  1. Now crush the ginger, chilli and black pepper. and add in batter. Also add cumin, chaat masala and salt and mix well.


  1. Take a non-stick pan to make chilla. Grease some oil in it. When hit the pan, pour the batter. And immediately spread capsicum and spinach on it and apply some oil and cover the lead on top. Fry on medium flame for 2 minutes. Then turn the chilla upside down and roast for about 30 seconds.


  1. Serve hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
