Veg. Fada Khichdi is a healthy, comforting dish from Gujarat made with broken wheat (fada), mixed vegetables, and mild spices. It's a light, nutritious meal that’s perfect for any time of the day. This gluten-free and vegetarian dish is packed with fiber, making it a great choice for a wholesome meal. Ideal for a quick, satisfying breakfast or dinner.
First of all prepare all the materials. Now heat a cooker with ghee. When it gets hot, add mustard seed, cumin and asafetida.
Then add all the vegetables one by one and mix well. Then add turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, pavbhaji masala, and salt to taste. And mix well with vegetables.

After that add Fada to it and mix it well. And add water as needed. Here I have added 1 to 1-1/2 glasses of water.
After 2-3 whistles, off the flame.

Veg Fada Kichdi is ready. Garnish with coriander and serve hot with buttermilk, papad and pickle.
