Description

Fasting keeps coming, and also Ekadashi comes twice in a month. Often, small boys do not like to fast at home. Why? Because there is dry bhaji or morayo in Faral. But if we make some new and tasty dish and serve it, it will be enjoyed by both the young and the old. Today I have made Dosa in Faral.

Ingredients

For the Dosa Batter

For the Chutney

For Chutney Tadaka

For Stuffing

For Farali Kadhi

Instructions

  1. Crush morayo and sago in a mixer.

  1. Now take it out in a big bowl and add ginger-chilli paste, cumin, curd and salt and mix it properly. And prepare batter by pouring water as needed. The consistency of batter should be similar to that of rava dosa batter.

  1. For the Chutney:

Crush all the ingredients for the chutney in a mixer. and take out in a bowl. Water can be added if needed.
Now heat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add the cumin seeds and curry leaves and pour it into the chutney.
    The chuteny is ready.

  1. For the Stuffing:

Finely chop the potatoes. Now heat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add cumin seeds and curry leaves. And then add ginger-chilli paste and sesame seeds.
Add tomato when it gets slightly fried. Saute for 2-3 minutes. Then add turmeric. And add potatoes, add salt and mix well. Sprinkle chopped coriander on top.

  1. For Farali Kadhi:

Mix rajgara flour, curd, ginger-chili paste, water and salt. Heat ghee in a pan. Put cumin seeds, curry leaves and cloves in it and put coriander on top.

  1. Now heat the dosa pan. Once it gets hot, grease it with oil and slowly pour the dosa batter. Grease oil from above. Let it cook on high medium flame for 2-3 minutes. When it turns golden brown, add the stuffing in it.

  1. Crispy Farali Dosa is ready. Serve with chutney and farali kadhi.
